The Liquid Spriit master has now sold a million copies of his incredible breakthrough album. He is a true inspiration, especially wearing cool suits with shorts and knows how to draw you in with his tremedous voice - a platinum god! Here is a cover of his most successful song - ‘Hey Laura’.

I have a brand new track ‘Nothing Makes Me Wanna Die’ that is available to pre-order as part of this fabulous compilation album - ‘Beacon’. This album wouldn’t have been put together if it wasn’t for Dan Walton and Paige Atkins, who both came up with the idea to promote the local Gloucestershire scene in this way!
It will be out on 11th November and all proceedings will go towards ‘Musicians Without Borders’. It is a charity who supports communities to develop skills and talents, process grief and loss, and build bridges of reconciliation in areas divided by recent or ongoing conflict. You can find out more about the charity and their work here…
Minimum donations are £3 and it’s a perfect gift for Xmas!
With the final tweaks of the mixing process done, the album has been sent to the very capable hands of Nick Bennett, a true gentleman who has mastered some top albums in the past decade. We are extremely lucky to get them mastered by Nick, thanks to a worthy reccomendation by Oli Jacobs who mixed the album. Exciting times ahead…
There is always a time of year where you experience a strange father-and-son moment, but ideally my dad was travelling up north, so he thought he would pop in, with his tin whistle and Irish catalogue of folk anthems. I’m really glad I recorded my dad for three reasons… 1. Because I haven’t really got any recordings of my dad that I own. 2. Recording what I now call Fopera - Folk music sung with slight Sicilian vibrato. 3. Capturing this shot reveals that my dad has adapted to live in a monastery once he retires.
University has been bombarding me with loads of different projects this term and one of them involves collaboration, either with a colleague from Uni or someone who you know don’t know form a different nation… with Series Two ending on a high, Series Three will be featuring musicians from around europe and will be shot in picturesque locations around the UK! With the help from my honourable house-mate/new acoustic friday producer Ollie Weaver, we will hopefully find some wacky artists in Prague when we visit in January… and Paris (once we have found the cheapest flights!). The idea of the series will be attracting new artist followings from the different locations and we will put on a celebratory gig in Cheltenham after the final episode is released! Watch this space - Acoustic Fridays will hopefully have a big impact at the start of 2017!
If you are a singer/songwriter and would love to feature in the new series…please email me with some of your latest work to firstname.lastname@example.org
